BMW has finally built EV space in the Automobile Industry, by launching iX electric SUV.This BMW iX has launched in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹ 1.16 Crore.
By Launching this Electric Vehicle, BMW has made the brand join the line of luxury Carmakers like Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and Jaguar, Who sells fully electric SUVs in India.

After entering the all-newly launched BMW iX has been offered as a completely built unit (CBU), which made it quite obvious that it competes with the Mercedes-Benz EQC, Audi e-Tron, and Jaguar i-Pace.
Now the BMW has started to offer BMW iX in just a single xDrive40 variant in the Indian market, Also the company has also been announced that the deliveries will start from April 2022.
The 2021 BMW iX architecture uses an Aluminium space frame for high torsional stiffness while minimising weight.
This Newly Launched electric SUV gathered a full five-star safety rating in the Euro NCAP test.
If we talk about the all over the look, this electric SUV comes with the signature design language of the new BMW models.
BMW iX comes with the signature kidney grille design, which covers intelligent driver assistance systems including radars, cameras and sensors.
Electric BMW iX features the brand's fifth generation which uses two electric motors, one on each axle, to offer electric all-wheel-drive (AWD) function.
The model comes with a 76.6 kWh battery pack, which powers the electric motors to develop a combined output of 240 kW or 322 bhp and a peak torque of 630 Nm.
BMW iX comes with the range of 425 km as per the WLTP cycle on a single charge. BMW also offers a top-end iX xDrive50 trim which offers a combined output of 375 kW or 503 bhp.
The cabin of the new BMW iX electric provides a futuristic look with a minimalist design and has covered in soft-touch material.
The BMW iX is the first vehicle from the company which features the new hexagonal steering wheel, which has been designed to improve comfort and provide the driver with a better display of information display.

In BMW iX, the seat adjustment buttons have been moved to the door panels. BMW iX will come with a large display area with split screens for infotainment and instrumentation.
