It's a versatile bike that performs well both on city streets and long highway rides.
Keeway launch details and price
Keeway, a Hungarian brand, has been enlarging its product range in India since its introduction in the market. As a result, Keeway has recently released K300 in two variations - K300 N (naked street model) and K300 R (racing sports model). Both variants pledge to deliver a high-powered performance and have been introduced in India through AARI (Adishwar Auto Ride India), located in Hyderabad.
The K300 N and K300 R, two of Keeway's new 300cc motorcycle models, are priced at Rs. 2,65,000 and Rs. 2,99,000 (ex-showroom, India), respectively. These price points are targeted at competing against the popular Austrian and German models in this category. Keeway had previously introduced a V-twin cruiser, the V302C, at Rs. 3.89 lakh (ex-showroom), and is now releasing the K300 twins at a more affordable price range.
Engine details
The K300 N and K300 R models share an identical engine, which is a single-cylinder 292cc unit equipped with a DOHC system and liquid cooling. This engine can produce a maximum power of 27.5 bhp at 8,750 RPM and a peak torque of 25 Nm at 7,000 RPM. It has a 6-speed transmission system, and its power is transmitted to the rear sprocket through a chain drive. The K300 N and K300 R models also feature essential cycle components such as 37mm upside-down front forks and a mono-shock rear suspension unit. Both models have standard disc brakes on both ends, with a 292mm front disc equipped with opposing four-piston calipers and a 220mm rear disc fitted with a single-piston caliper. Additionally, the bikes offer a dual-channel ABS system and a slipper clutch.
The managing director of Keeway India, Vikas Jhabhak said- "I am delighted to introduce the brand-new K300 N and K300 R. We are confident that these two magnificent machines will thrill the customers with their exceptional appearance and outstanding performance. These twin bikes are certain to strike a chord with the young Indian motorcycle enthusiasts who seek a sub-300cc motorcycle with distinct design and enjoyable riding experience."
