Hero Xtreme 200S 4V : what we know so far
The older 2-valve engine, which was first introduced on the Xpulse 200, is only used in Hero's 200cc line-up by this bike. With this update, all of Hero's 200cc motorcycles will be equipped with the newer and more advanced 4-valve engine.
Although visually similar to the previous model, the new yellow color on the Xtreme 200S 4V is eye-catching and distinguishes it from other bikes. In addition, the bike now uses the same mirrors as the Xtreme 160R and the Xoom scooter, replacing the current model's units, which are also found on the Xpulse 200T 4V.
The current price of the Xtreme 200S is Rs 1,35,360(ex-showroom, Delhi), and prices are expected to increase with this 4V update. As the bikes have already reached dealerships and appear to be nearly production-ready, we anticipate their launch in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more information.
The update to the 4-valve engine on the Xtreme 200S 4V will likely result in improved performance, making it a more attractive option for motorcycle enthusiasts. The bike's sleek design and eye-catching color options are sure to draw attention on the roads. With the launch just around the corner, customers can eagerly anticipate the arrival of Hero's updated 200cc motorcycle line-up
Hero Passion Plus : what we know so far
The updated Passion Plus is expected to feature a stylish design, excellent performance, and fuel efficiency, just like its previous models. The bike's 97cc 'Sloper' engine has been updated to comply with the new OBD-2 norms and E20 fuel regulations, making it more environmentally friendly.
The bike is expected to be priced similarly to the current Hero HF and Splendor bikes, making it an affordable and value-for-money option for Indian customers. With these features, the Passion Plus is sure to be a popular choice for daily commuting and leisure riding alike.
Hero seems to be preparing itself to take on Honda with the launch of the Shine 100 motorcycle in the highly profitable 100cc segment. This challenge will be tackled head-on with the re-introduction of the Passion Plus model, which was previously based on the same platform as the Splendor and HF models. The 2023 Passion Plus model also uses the same 97cc engine as the Splendor and HF, which has been updated to comply with the new OBD-2 norms and E20 fuel regulations. With current Hero HF and Splendor bikes priced between Rs 56,968-Rs 76,346 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Passion Plus is expected to be priced similarly when launched.
