Get ready for the launch of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, sharing parts with the KTM Duke 390, in India soon.
Husqvarna bikes have gained immense popularity in India, thanks to their stylish design and superior performance.
The Swedish brand has captured the attention of Indian bikers with its range of powerful and agile motorcycles, making it a popular choice among enthusiasts.
Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 launch details
Husqvarna motorcycles, which are the sibling brand of KTM, have not been successful in the Indian market for various reasons. The current models available, the Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250, are not selling well.
However, with the upcoming launch of the new KTM Duke line-up, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 has been spotted in India for the first time, indicating that it will soon be released in the country.
Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 exterior design and first looks
The prototype of the Svartpilen 410 appears to be in its final stages of production, as indicated by the camouflage covering its fully completed body panels.
Although only spy photos of the Svartpilen 401 have been leaked online, the Vitpilen 401 is also expected to be released in India, and it's likely that both of these higher displacement Husqvarna bikes will be seen testing on Indian roads soon. The two-wheeler was initially spotted in Europe around a year ago.
Similar to the KTM Duke 390?
Upon careful examination, it's apparent that the upcoming Husqvarna motorcycle looks noticeably distinct from its current generation model. There are also noticeable similarities with the upcoming next-generation KTM Duke 390, which it shares some parts with. For one, the Svartpilen has seemingly increased in size when compared to the current range.
Regarding the sharing of parts, the new Husqvarna motorcycle has borrowed the rear off-set monoshock and gullwing-type swing arm directly from its KTM counterpart. Additionally, the steel trellis frame is similar to that of the new-generation Duke 390, although it lacks the rear sub-frame. The bike will feature a practical rear grab-rail and a split seat arrangement.
In conclusion, Despite the current models not selling well, the arrival of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 is highly anticipated. With similarities to the upcoming KTM Duke 390, the new Husqvarna motorcycle features borrowed parts and an increased size. Its practical design elements, such as the rear grab-rail and split seat arrangement, make it an exciting addition to the Indian two-wheeler market.
