Hyundai Creta N Line, the sporty SUV, spotted free of camouflage during TVC shoot. Striking design, potent 1.5L turbo engine imminent.
Hyundai, the South Korean automotive giant, is set to introduce the sportier iteration of its popular mid-size SUV, the Creta. Known as the Creta N Line, this high-performance model was recently spotted without camouflage during a TVC shoot, suggesting that its launch is just around the corner. The Creta N Line will join Hyundai's N Line range in India, following the success of the i20 N Line and Venue N Line currently available in the country.
Building on the success of the recently updated Creta, Hyundai aims to serve buyers seeking a more thrilling driving experience and a distinctive appearance. The Creta N Line is assured to become the third sporty model in Hyundai's N Line range in India, offering a blend of performance and style.
The exterior of the Creta N Line is expected to receive significant cosmetic updates, mirroring the design philosophy seen in the i20 N Line and Venue N Line. The model spied during the TVC shoot showcased a signature Thunder Blue color with a glossy Abyss Black dual-paint theme on the pillars and roof. A bright Red strip along the side profile, N logo on the rear, and chrome additions at the front further enhance the sporty aesthetics of the SUV.
Inside the cabin, the Creta N Line will feature an all-black theme with contrasting red accents on various elements, including the AC vents, gear shifter, center console, and door panels. Expect to see the N logo on seats, upholstery, steering wheel, and metal finish pedals. The high-end variant is likely to offer premium features such as front ventilated seats, an electronic park brake, a dual 10.25-inch screen combining infotainment and driver console, an eight-speaker Bose audio system, and advanced connected technologies.
Under the hood, the Creta N Line is expected to be powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 158 bhp peak power and 253 Nm of maximum torque. Transmission options are likely to include a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and a six-speed manual unit. The SUV will offer three driving modes – Normal, Eco, and Sport, with paddle shifters available in the automatic variant.
