Hyundai Motor India posted its 3rd highest monthly sales in October 2024, with 70,078 units sold. Driven by SUV demand and high export performance, Hyundai recorded a 1.96% YoY growth.
In October 2024, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) sold 70,078 units overall, including both domestic and export sales, marking its third-highest monthly sales performance. This represents an increase of 1.96% year-over-year (YoY) over October 2023, when 68,728 units were sold. This achievement demonstrates Hyundai's dominant position in the car industry, which has been supported by strong domestic demand and a notable increase in export volumes.
In October 2024, Hyundai sold 55,568 units domestically, a 0.80% YoY increase over the 55,128 units sold in October 2023. Domestic sales increased by 8.74% month over month (MoM) from 51,101 units sold in September 2024, contributing 4,467 units to the total volume. This constant rise, which is fueled by Hyundai's well-liked portfolio, which includes the Hyundai Creta and Venue, confirms the company's steady demand in the Indian market.
