Hyundai Motor India has unveiled a design render of its upcoming Exter SUV, featuring a bold front design with youthful characteristics and distinct Signature H-LED DRLs.
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has taken the wraps off its latest creation - the Exter SUV - and it's sure to turn heads with its bold and youthful design. The automaker has given us a sneak peek with a design render, and it's clear that the Exter has been designed with a focus on making a striking first impression.
At the front, the Exter boasts a rounded-up face with a distinct grille featuring parametric patterns. The front end is further accentuated by Signature H-LED daytime running lights (DRLs), which lend the SUV an unmistakable identity. The character lines on the hood and fenders are also prominently carved out, giving the Exter an imposing and muscular look.
The Exter SUV has been developed in line with Hyundai's global design philosophy of 'Sensuous Sportiness', which aims to infuse a sense of emotional appeal into the design language. The Exter's design inspiration has been drawn from the urban and outdoor lifestyle, making it a perfect fit for the young and adventurous buyer.
"Exuding elements of Parametric Dynamism, Hyundai Exter is set to define new aspirations of young Gen Z customers that are looking to own a modern and youthful SUV," said Tarun Garg, COO, of Hyundai Motor India. With its sporty design and bold character, the Exter is sure to appeal to young buyers who are looking for a modern and stylish SUV that can keep up with their active lifestyle.
Hyundai is gearing up to launch its much-awaited micro SUV in India in a few weeks, and it's creating quite a buzz in the market. The new offering from the Korean carmaker is expected to come with a petrol-only powertrain, with transmission choices including both manual and automatic gearboxes. The introduction of an intelligent manual transmission (iMT) could also be a possibility and would make for an interesting addition.
Hyundai's new micro SUV is expected to be loaded with features, including connected technologies and a large infotainment screen, making it a tech-savvy option in its segment. It's likely to sit above the Grand i10 Nios but below the Venue in Hyundai's small-car lineup, positioning it as an attractive option for buyers looking for an entry-level SUV.
The Exter SUV from Hyundai is expected to have an impressive exterior design and specifications, with further details set to be revealed by the company in the coming weeks. The interiors are also expected to be feature-rich, and the SUV is likely to offer ample space and comfort for its occupants.
The upcoming micro SUV from Hyundai is all set to take on some stiff competition in the Indian market. The Hyundai Exter will go head-to-head with the likes of the Tata Punch, Citroen C3, Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger. The Exter will have its work cut out for it, as these vehicles have all made a name for themselves in the competitive Indian SUV market.
