The Hyundai Venue N Line, the second N Line model to go on sale in India after the Hyundai i20 N Line, has been launched in India at a price of INR 12.16 Lakh. It is the sportier version of the 2022 Venue subcompact SUV.
Hyundai has introduced its compact SUV, the Venue, in the N Line grade, with prices starting at Rs. 12.16 lakh (ex-showroom) and rising to Rs. 13.15 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end N8 trim. For Rs 21,000, reservations for the Venue N Line are already being accepted. The Venue N Line receives revised exterior components as well as a sportier suspension configuration and exhaust note.
This is Hyundai's second N Line model in India following the i20 N Line, and it is based on the face-lifted Venue. It is available in two trim levels, N6 and N8. In terms of specifications, the N6 costs Rs. 1.19 lakh more than the S(O), and the N8 costs Rs. 58,000 more than the most costly SX (O).
Here is a full-price comparison between the Venue N Line and its matching normal Venue trims.
| Venue N-Line | Price | Standard Value | Price ||--------------|----------------|----------------|----------------|| N6 | INR 12.16 Lakh | S(O) | INR 10.97 Lakh || N8 | INR 13.15 Lakh | SX(o) | INR 12.57 Lakh |
Unlike the i20 N Line, which also has a 6-speed iMT option, the Venue N Line only has one powertrain, a 120 horsepower, 172 Nm, 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine mated to a 7-speed DCT with paddle shifters.
However, the Venue N Line receives a few mechanical improvements, similar to the i20 N Line, to set it apart as the sportier alternative to the base model. The suspension and steering have been adjusted, promising sharper handling around the curves and a more stable drive. It has two exhaust pipes at the rear with a modified exhaust noise. The Hyundai Venue N Line also includes disc brakes on each of its four corners.
The Venue N Line's most notable changes are purely cosmetic. It receives N Line badging on the front grille, new 16-inch alloy wheels, red roof rail inserts, and reworked front and rear bumpers with red accents on the lower part. There are a total of five color variations for the N Line: three dual-tones and two monotones.
The Venue N Line's interior has the same fundamental design as the ordinary model, with the addition of an N Line emblem here and there and an all-black interior motif with red accents. Additionally, it has a redesigned steering wheel with three spokes similar to the Hyundai i20 N- Line's.
The N8 trim receives features like a dual-camera dashcam, an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car technology, ambient lighting, a powered driver's seat, an integrated air purifier, voice controls, and a digital instrument cluster. It is based on the highest-specified SX(O).
The Venue N Line is equipped with ESP, hill start assist, and braking assists as standard; the N6 and N8 trims both come with dual airbags.
The Venue N Line is positioned as a more driver-focused alternative in the compact SUV segment, competing against the Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, and Kia Sonet.
