The Italjet Dragster 700 is a limited-edition scooter with a 700cc engine, radical design, and only 700 units produced.
Italjet, the renowned Italian scooter maker, has just unveiled its latest creation—the Dragster 700. This limited-edition scooter is not just about getting from point A to point B; it's about making a bold statement.
The Italjet Dragster 700 is a sight to behold with its radical and sporty design. Unlike the typical scooters found in India, which focus more on utility and affordability, the Dragster 700 is designed to turn heads. The scooter's bodywork is reminiscent of the Ducati Panigale, featuring an aggressive front profile with winglets below the headlight. It also sports clip-on handlebars, a split seat setup, and an exposed frame, adding to its unique aesthetic.
However, this exclusive scooter is not for everyone. Italjet has limited the production of the Dragster 700 to just 700 units. Once these are sold, or until the end of the EICMA (a major motorcycle and scooter exhibition), the Dragster 700 will no longer be available. This exclusivity adds to the scooter's allure, making it a rare find for enthusiasts.
Underneath its striking exterior, the Dragster 700 packs a punch. It is powered by a 700cc parallel-twin engine that produces nearly 70bhp and 70.95Nm of torque. This powerful engine ensures that the scooter delivers impressive performance on the road.
In terms of hardware, the Dragster 700 is equipped with high-quality components. It features Marzocchi USD front forks, Ohlins rear shock, and 15-inch wheels for a smooth and stable ride. The braking system includes Brembo calipers, providing reliable stopping power. Additionally, the scooter comes with an Akrapovic end-can, enhancing both its performance and sound.
Currently, the Italjet Dragster 700 is available only in the European market. The standard model is priced at GBP 10,900 (approximately Rs. 11.78 lakh), while the Limited Factory Edition costs GBP 12,600 (approximately Rs. 13.6 lakh). Given its unique design and high-end features, the Dragster 700 is far from being a budget-friendly option.
The Italjet Dragster 700 is a testament to what happens when design and performance come together in a scooter. With its limited production and exceptional features, it is set to be a collector's item for scooter enthusiasts. If you're in Europe and have the budget, this scooter offers a rare blend of style and power that is hard to find elsewhere.
