Jawa 42 Bobber was launched in India at a price of 2.06 Lakh (ex-showroom). The Bike has a unique style and due to that, it doesn't have to compete with any direct rivals.
Jawa has introduced the 42 Bobber, which has a starting price of Rs 2.06 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It inherits the Perak's engine and most of its design features while making a few cosmetic, mechanical, and electrical changes.
The Jawa 42 Bobber is powered by the same liquid-cooled 334cc single-cylinder engine that produces 30.64hp and 32.64Nm of torque as the Perak. The 42 Bobber comes in three colors: Mystic Copper (Rs 2.06 lakh), Moonstone White (Rs 2.07 lakh), and Jasper Red (Rs 2.08 lakh) (Rs 2.09 lakh).
The Jawa 42 Bobber blends stylistic features from the Perak bobber and the Jawa 42 neo-retro roadster, however, it looks considerably more like the former. With a low-slung, single-seat design, the 42 Bobber maintains true to its name. The front fender isn't as chiseled as the Perak's, but the rear is practically comparable.
Much of the bodywork on both Jawa bobbers are extremely identical, with the main differences being the fuel tanks, lights, and exhaust exit. The engine is the same liquid-cooled 334cc single-cylinder motor that produces 30.64hp and 32.64Nm of torque on the Perak and is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.
The 42 Bobber has knee recesses in the fuel tank, a tiny baggage rack on the rear fender, a new 2-way adjustable seat, and a revised headlamp shroud and instruments.
Jawa states that the suspension settings have been altered to improve rider comfort and that the ABS calibration has been improved to offer a greater feel and feedback. The Jawa 42 Bobber features LED illumination throughout (the tail-lamp is different from the Perak) and a negative LCD display.
### Price and rivals
The Jawa 42 Bobber costs between Rs 2.06 lakh and Rs 2.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) depending on the color, with the highest variation costing the same as the Perak. With the exception of its blacked-out twin, the Jawa Perak, it has no competitors due to its unique single-seat only design.
