Kia has launched the Sonet Aurochs Edition SUV in India. The SUV also offers safety features like four airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, and more.
Kia India has introduced a new variant of the Sonet sub-compact SUV, known as the Kia Sonet Aurochs Edition. This special anniversary edition of the SUV is priced at Rs. 11.85 lakh (ex-showroom) and is based on the H TX variant. The Sonet Aurochs Edition comes with numerous design and feature updates.
The H TX AE variant is around Rs. 40,000 more expensive than the regular H TX variant of the SUV. The Sonet Aurochs Edition is inspired by the now-extinct aurochs cattle species, which was one of the largest herbivores and had large horns. The SUV features an Aurochs front face and skid plates at the sides, with Tangerine accents on the rear section.
If you're in the market for a new sub-compact SUV, the Kia Sonet Aurochs Edition is definitely worth considering. Its distinctive design, updated features, and reasonable price point make it a great option for anyone looking for a stylish and practical vehicle.
Kia is offering the Sonet Aurochs Edition with various design and feature updates. The sub-compact SUV has an electric sunroof and crown jewel LED headlamps with heartbeat LED DRLs and tail lamps. The Aurochs Edition is available in four colour options, including Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, and Aurora Black Pearl.
Interiors
The variant is offered in four trims with different transmission options. The Sonet Aurochs Edition's interior includes semi-leatherette seats with silver stitching, a leatherette-wrapped D-cut steering wheel with a Sonet logo, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, it has leatherette-wrapped door armrests, inside door handles with hyper silver metallic paint, and silver finish AC vents.
The Kia Sonet Aurochs Edition will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine has a power output of 118 bhp and a peak torque of 172 Nm, while the 1.5-litre diesel engine can generate a power output of 114 bhp and a peak torque of 250 Nm.
The special edition of the Sonet SUV also comes with several safety features, including four airbags, ABS with EBD, an emergency stop signal, brake assist, Electronic Stability Control, Hill-start Assist Control, and Vehicle Stability Management.
