In October 2024, Mahindra & Mahindra had their highest-ever SUV sales of 54,504 units, a phenomenal 24.70% year-over-year (YoY) rise, marking a historic milestone. This impressive showing demonstrates Mahindra's sustained dominance in the SUV market and the tremendous demand for its products in India.
The total number of Mahindra vehicles sold in October 2024 was 96,648. Analyzing this achievement:

Mahindra's SUV sales of all popular models were significantly increased during the holiday season. Among the models that performed the best in October were:
With 1.7 lakh reservations made in the first hour after the order books opened, Roxx achieved remarkable success.
The XUV700, Bolero, and Scorpio-N models all maintained strong demand, solidifying their place in the market.
While the near-production XUV3XO EV is expected to provide more momentum in the upcoming months, the upgraded XUV3XO helped to boost sales.
As of FY 2025, Mahindra's SUV sales have reached a robust 3,14,714 units, reflecting a 22% YoY growth over 2,58,612 units sold in the same period for FY 2024. This sustained growth highlights Mahindra’s success in maintaining high demand across its SUV portfolio.
Contrasting Mahindra’s SUV growth, sales of cars and vans recorded a 100% decline, dropping from 10 units in FY 2024 to zero in the current fiscal period. This shift indicates a focused emphasis on the SUV and commercial vehicle segments.
Mahindra & Mahindra's October 2024 sales showcase the brand’s strength and adaptability in India’s competitive automotive market, driven largely by its diverse SUV offerings and heightened export demand. With new models and updates underway, Mahindra is poised for continued growth in the months ahead.
