Mahindra XUV700 gets a new entry-level variant named Mahindra XUV700 MX (E)

The Mahindra XUV700 is a powerful and stylish SUV that has taken the Indian market by storm. This vehicle boasts a range of impressive features, including an all-new platform, advanced safety features, and cutting-edge technology.

Mahindra XUV700 new entry-level variant MX (E) introduced

The XUV700 is available in a range of variants, including the MX line-up, which is set to expand with the introduction of a new entry level petrol-AT model.

With its superior performance, comfort, and style, the XUV700 is a vehicle that is sure to impress even the most discerning driver. Whether you are looking for a family car or a rugged off-road vehicle, the Mahindra XUV700 is definitely worth considering.

A new MX (E) trim, which will sit between the existing MX and AX3 trims, is anticipated to be added by Mahindra to the XUV700 lineup. The main distinction between the Mahindra AdrenoX system and the dual 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the AX3 trim over the MX trim is the latter. This also leads to a significant pricing difference between the two; for both the petrol and diesel models, the MX and AX3 differ by Rs 2.43 lakh.

In order to close this pricing difference between the gasoline and diesel lineups, it is expected that the new MX (E) trim will be introduced. Yet since the MX already has an 8.0-inch touchscreen and a 7.0-inch digital insert in the instrument cluster with analogue dials, it's unclear what new features Mahindra will add to the MX (E) level.

Engine details

Despite being modified to comply with RDE and E20 fuel standards, Mahindra will keep using its 2.0-liter petrol and 2.2-liter diesel engines. The diesel engine is offered in two tuning levels: 155 horsepower for base models and 185 horsepower for higher models.

The petrol engine produces 200 horsepower. A 6-speed automatic transmission is an option for both engines, which are mated to 6-speed manual transmissions as standard. Only the highest-specified diesel-auto models from Mahindra come with the AWD system.

Mahindra is famous for the long waiting periods for their cars, for the standard model customers have to wait for two three months and for the middle variants customers have to wait for a period of 5 Months and for the top variants like AX7 and AX7L customers have to wait for over a year.
