Mahindra's XUV300 Facelift variants spied together hint at new interiors, aiming to carve a distinct position in India's sub-4m SUV segment. With diverse trim levels and revamped features, Mahindra gears up for a competitive launch.
Sub-4m SUV is a segment in India which has witnessed a significant rise of interest among the buyers. For the same, Mahindra has geared up to unveil the facelift versions of its XUV300. With rising competition, it has become a priority of many manufacturers to offer distinct innovative and new models to the consumers, and Mahindra seems to put effort to make its mark for the same.
Mahindra is already receiving huge success for its mid-size SUV offerings like the Scorpio Classic, Scorpio N, and XUV700. Now the brand can be seen expanding its SUV charm to the sub-4m segment. While the brand already has offerings like Thar, Bolero, and Bolero Neo, the XUV300 stands out as its only monocoque sub-4m vehicle.
Recently, a spy-shot of a convoy of XUV300 facelift test mules was captured. The spy images offer a glimpse of what this upcoming model has to offer. Moreover, the thing to notice is the inclusion of different trim levels. This signifies the upcoming plan of Mahindra to diversify its range of offerings.
Base Variant: The convoy showcased a base trim model, identifiable by its steel wheels adorned with conventional wheel covers and un-painted ORVMs. Despite its entry-level positioning, the inclusion of blackened pillars adds a touch of sophistication.
Mid-Level Variant: Embracing the trend set by competitors like Renault and Tata Motors, Mahindra's mid-level trims sport stylish steel wheels designed to mimic alloy wheels, enhancing the vehicle's aesthetic appeal.
Top Variant: The higher trim variant, adorned with alloy wheels reminiscent of current models, steals the spotlight with its revamped interiors. Notable features include a larger free-standing touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster, reminiscent of the recently launched XUV400 electric vehicle.
The powertrains remain the same with the current XUV300 lineup. It features a 1.2L turbo petrol and a 1.5L diesel engine. We can expect an Aisin-sourced torque converter joining the range of features. As for pricing, the addition of new features and upgrades may lead to an incremental increase compared to the current XUV300 models.
As we can see Mahindra is gearing up for the official launch of XUV300 lineup, anticipation has built among enthusiasts. Buyers are eagerly waiting to experience the brand's latest innovations in the fiercely competitive sub-4m SUV segment.
