In contrast, the AX7 AT MT 7-Seater FWD and AX7 L MT 6-Seater offer a price drop of Rs 75,000, while the AX7 AT 7-Seater AWD is available at the price benefit of Rs 45,000.
Mahindra has announced up to a Rs 75,000 price drop for its XUV700 AX7 and AX7 L variants. The Mahindra SUV buyers in India have both versions with turbo petrol and diesel engines available at significant discounts. However, the new addition, the XUV700 Ebony Edition, does not get any price drop. Instead, the deal is available only for AX7 and AX7 L variants.
Additionally, Mahindra has announced a price hike of up to 3% for its entire model range from the start of April. Here is a detailed overview of this recent discount offer from Mahindra, India’s leading SUV manufacturer.
Eight variants of the diesel-powered Mahindra XUV700 with six and seven-seat configurations offer this latest discount. Starting with the AX7 AT 7-Seater FWD and AX7 AT 6-Seater variants, which are currently priced at Rs 22.14 lakh and Rs 22.34 lakh, they are available at the discounted price of Rs 21.69 lakh and 21.89 lakh, giving the benefit of Rs 45,000.
In contrast, the AX7 AT MT 7-Seater FWD and AX7 L MT 6-Seater offer a price drop of Rs 75,000, while the AX7 AT 7-Seater AWD is available at the price benefit of Rs 45,000. The higher spec trims, AX7 AT 7-Seater FWD, AX7 L AT 6-Seater, and AX7 L AT 7-Seater, are all available at a maximum discount of Rs 75,000.
The diesel-powered XUV700 gets a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox to churn out 185 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque. In contrast, with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, the torque reaches 450 Nm.
Only four variants of the XUV700 benefit from Mahindra’s recent price reduction of up to Rs 75,000. The AX7 AT 7-Seater and AX7 AT 6-Seater both get a price drop of Rs 45,000, while the AX7 L AT 7-Seater and AX7 L AT 6-Seater receive a price benefit of Rs 75,000. Unlike diesel-powered trims of the Mahindra XUV700, the manual gearbox variants of the turbo-petrol option do not get any price deduction.
The Mahindra XUV700, with a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine, produces 200 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque and offers a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter auto transmission.
