Maruti Suzuki Eeco has achieved 10 Lakh unit sales since it was launched in 2010.
The Maruti Suzuki Eeco has sold 10 lakh units throughout the country, a tremendous achievement.
Since its launch in 2010, the Eeco has been the best-selling van in the country. The Maruti Suzuki Eeco comes in 13 different configurations, including 5-seater, 7-seater, Cargo, Tour, and Ambulance.
The Eeco van, according to MSIL, is designed to meet the demands of a diverse spectrum of clients, whether they are searching for a pleasant family vehicle or an efficient work vehicle.
The upgraded Eeco van will be available in India from November 2022, according to the company. The new model has a new engine, updated interiors, and increased safety measures.
Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, expressed thanks to consumers for the achievement, saying, "Eeco dominates the van class with over 94% market dominance".
He added, "It has been the trusted choice of over 10 lakh clients throughout the years, responding to their changing demands. Interestingly, Eeco took 8 years to reach the first 5 lakh sales milestone, whereas the following 5 lakh sales milestone was reached in less than 5 years, telling volumes about the quality, trust, and reliability it brings to the table. We applaud our consumers for their trust in us, which has made Eeco the preferred customer option and the best-selling van in the country."
It is driven by a 1.2L K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with a power output of 80.76PS at 6,000rpm and a torque output of 104.4Nm at 3,000rpm. The new powertrain produces 10% more power than the previous generation. The CNG variant produces 71.65PS at 6000rpm and 95Nm of torque at 3,000rpm. A 5-speed gearbox transmits power to the front wheels.
The Tour variant is stated to have an ARAI certified fuel economy of 20.20kmpl for petrol and 27.05km/kg for CNG. With fuel and CNG, the passenger model achieves 19.71kmpl and 26.78km/kg, respectively.
It comes in five different colors: Solid White, Metallic Silky Silver, Pearl Midnight Black, Metallic Glistening Grey, and the new Metallic Brisk Blue. It has reclining front seats, a cabin air filter (for AC models), a computerized instrument dashboard, and rotary controls for the air conditioner and heater.
Engine immobilizer, lighted danger switch, twin airbags, ABS with EBD, child lock for sliding doors and windows, reverse parking sensors, and other safety features are included.
