Maruti eVX Electric SUV to Debut at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

Maruti Suzuki has officially confirmed the global debut of its much-anticipated electric SUV, the Maruti eVX, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The event is scheduled to take place from January 17 to 22 in New Delhi.

The eVX, Maruti’s first electric SUV, has been in development for some time and was initially expected to debut this year. However, due to various delays, the unveiling has been pushed to January 20252. This SUV is a significant milestone for Maruti Suzuki as it marks the company’s entry into the electric vehicle market.

The eVX will be produced exclusively in India, with a planned annual output of 1.5 lakh units primarily for export to key international markets such as Europe and Japan2. The SUV is being developed in partnership with Toyota, and a Toyota-badged version is expected to follow shortly after the eVX’s launch.

The Maruti eVX will compete with other electric SUVs like the Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta EV, BYD Atto 3, and Mahindra’s upcoming EV lineup. This launch is expected to significantly impact the electric vehicle landscape in India and globally.
