Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, a popular high selling car now comes with a waiting time of 6 months.
Maruti cars are extremely popular in India, and for good reason. Maruti Suzuki India Limited, formerly known as 'Maruti Udyog Limited', is a subsidiary of the Japanese automobile manufacturer, Suzuki Motor Corporation. It is the largest car manufacturer in India and has been a household name for several decades.
One of the reasons for the popularity of Maruti cars is their affordability. Maruti has been able to keep the cost of their cars relatively low, making them accessible to a wide range of consumers. Additionally, Maruti cars are known for their fuel efficiency and low maintenance costs, which makes them a practical choice for many Indian families.Another reason for Maruti's popularity is their extensive network of dealerships and service centres across the country. This ensures that customers can easily access after-sales services and support, making it a hassle-free experience to own a Maruti car. Maruti has also been quick to adapt to changing consumer trends and preferences. They have consistently updated their car models to include modern features and technology, making their cars more appealing to younger buyers.
Maruti has built a reputation for producing cars that are reliable and durable, which has helped to build trust and loyalty among its customer base. All of these factors have contributed to the widespread popularity of Maruti cars in India.
The dual-tone Ciaz model by Maruti Suzuki was just released in India, with prices beginning at Rs 11.14 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition, all models now come equipped with safety features like hill hold and Electronic Stability Program (ESP). There are four Ciaz variations available: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. In India right now, the sedan has a waiting period of up to six weeks. While the manual version of the sedan has a maximum waiting period of up to six weeks, the waiting times for the Zeta Petrol AMT and Alpha Petrol AMT are three to four weeks.
The 1.5-liter gasoline engine in the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz generates 103 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque when mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed torque converter. Also, the producer is preparing to obtain a BS6 Phase-2 certified engine soon for the Ciaz.
