But, even before this the newly unveiled Maruti Vitara SUV’s price had leaked online through a source code on a website recently, which was not believable as it could be a photoshop work to raise curiosity. Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV price in India could be cheaper than the Hyundai Creta SUV.
As per the leaked image of the website source code, the all-new Grand Vitara price is Rs 9.5 lakh (ex-showroom), which could be the starting price of the base model of the upcoming Vitara SUV. And in that case Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV cost would be a lakh Rupees less than Hyundai Creta SUV.
This trend being implemented could be evident on all variants, which would steal the show from the best-selling SUV in the category while offering the most value. Also, the Grand Vitara Maruti car has two main advantages over the Creta car - one is the inclusion of an AWD or all-wheel drive function and the other merit is the presence of an hybrid powertrain in the Vitara SUV as an additional feature.
Two variants of the all new Grand Vitara SUV were showcased internationally on the 20th of July 2022. One variant is the Grand Vitara IC version and the other Maruti Grand SUV is the Vitara Intelligent Electric Hybrid variant.
The Maruti Vitara Hybrid car variants will be sold in two engine options, a 1.5 litre hybrid petrol engine and 1.5 litre dual VVT petrol engine.
The new Maruti SUV features several driving modes such as Eco, EV, Normal and Power along with ALL-GRIP choices: Auto, Lock, Snow, and Sport driving modes. The Vitara SUV's fuel efficiency is being claimed at 27.97 kilometre per litre, that would make the new Vitara car the most fuel-efficient SUV in India, according to the officials of the biggest car manufacturer.
Speaking at the international debut, Mr Hisashi Takeuchi, the Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited said that, “With the international reveal of the Grand Vitara, we are introducing an SUV that represents the finest Suzuki design, performance, and technology. Equipped with the iconic Suzuki ALLGRIP off-road capability and a strong and aggressive design, it inherits the pure SUV DNA of the iconic Vitara brand.”

“Going ahead with NEXA's ideology of bringing creative and ingenious technologies, we are excited to introduce the NEXAVerse: a new course of action to involve and get the exposure of the Grand Vitara in the Metaverse. Mid-size SUVs account for half of total sales in the country and this figure is expected to double in 3-4 years.”
