Now the booking for the new upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto has now open, the launch date is on 5th July.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited has some exciting news for car enthusiasts. They have officially opened bookings for their upcoming MPV, the Invicto. Set to become the manufacturer's flagship product, the Invicto will be the most expensive vehicle in Maruti Suzuki's lineup. This hints at a truly premium and feature-packed offering from the renowned automaker.
The much-anticipated Invicto is scheduled to be unveiled on the 5th of July. It will directly compete with the Toyota Innova Hycross, sharing its underpinnings with the popular MPV. Interestingly, Toyota will be handling the manufacturing and supplying of the Invicto to Maruti Suzuki, and the vehicle will be sold through Nexa dealerships, adding an intriguing twist to the partnership between the two companies.
In terms of design, we can expect Maruti Suzuki to make subtle alterations to Invicto's bumpers, grille, and potentially the headlamp and tail lamp elements. These changes are aimed at setting the Invicto apart from its sibling, the Innova Hycross. As for the interior, speculations suggest that the Invicto might sport unique upholstery and a slightly different feature list. However, these details remain unconfirmed by Maruti Suzuki at present.
The Invicto is likely to be available in both 7 and 8-seater configurations, catering to varying passenger needs. Maruti Suzuki might also introduce a distinct variant lineup for the MPV. In terms of features, the Invicto is expected to offer a range of premium amenities, including a touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital driver's display, ventilated front seats, LED headlamps and tail lamps, connected car technology, and even a panoramic sunroof, among others.
Under the hood, the Invicto is set to pack a punch with a 2.0-litre petrol engine. This powertrain will be available in two configurations: hybrid and non-hybrid. The non-hybrid version will deliver 171 bhp and 205 Nm of torque, mated to a CVT automatic transmission. On the other hand, the hybrid variant is expected to churn out 183 bhp and will be paired with an eCVT automatic gearbox.
As the new flagship offering from Maruti Suzuki, the Invicto will occupy a prominent position above the Grand Vitara in the lineup. It's worth noting that the Grand Vitara itself is a co-developed model with Toyota and a rebadged version of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
While the official pricing for the Invicto is yet to be announced, it is anticipated to be in the same price range as the Toyota Innova Hycross, which starts from ₹18.55 lakh and goes up to ₹29.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This indicates that Invicto will likely fall within a similar ballpark in terms of pricing.
With the Invicto, Maruti Suzuki is poised to make a bold statement in the MPV segment, combining their expertise with Toyota's proven platform. Enthusiasts and potential buyers eagerly await the official launch, eager to experience Invicto's premium features, powerful performance, and the emblematic Maruti Suzuki driving experience.
