Explore Mercedes-Benz's showcase at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, featuring the futuristic Concept CLA Class, electric G-Wagen, Maybach EQS 680 Night Series, and more groundbreaking innovations in luxury and sustainability.
Mercedes-Benz India is set to captivate automotive enthusiasts with its showcase at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, marking a pivotal moment for the brand in India. At the forefront of this presentation will be the highly anticipated Concept CLA Class, making its India debut during Auto Expo 2025, a key highlight of the Bharat Mobility Show. The concept vehicle was originally unveiled globally in September 2023 and represents a bold leap in design, technology, and sustainability for Mercedes-Benz.
The Concept CLA Class is positioned as the foundation for the next-generation CLA, which will be available in both combustion engine and electric vehicle (EV) variants. Built on the cutting-edge Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA) platform, the concept car exemplifies futuristic aesthetics combined with eco-conscious engineering.
“The Bharat Mobility showcase will reflect Mercedes-Benz’s iconic luxury status, having emotive and highly desirable products underpinning Mercedes-Benz’s aggressive BEV ambition and technology leadership,” said Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India. He emphasized that the event offers the perfect stage to highlight the brand’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.
For the EV version of the CLA, Mercedes-Benz plans to equip it with battery packs of up to 85 kWh, delivering an impressive range of over 750 km on a single charge. The rear axle will house the primary drive motor, capable of producing up to 268 bhp.
The combustion engine variant of the CLA will feature the next-generation 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engines in three output configurations: 134 bhp, 161 bhp, and 188 bhp, promising a versatile offering tailored to diverse driving preferences.
Inside, the Concept CLA’s cabin is a testament to sustainable luxury, incorporating eco-friendly materials throughout its structure and interior. This aligns with Mercedes-Benz’s broader goal of setting new benchmarks in innovation and sustainability.
Another significant highlight is the Mercedes-Benz G 580, popularly referred to as the electric G-Wagen. Already showcased earlier this year, it is scheduled to launch in India in 2025. Staying true to the iconic G-Class design ethos, the G 580 integrates Mercedes’ EQ technology to redefine power and performance. It features a robust 116 kWh battery pack, providing a range of up to 473 km on a single charge.
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo will also host the debut of the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 Night Series. This ultra-luxurious offering is distinguished by an all-black aesthetic, complemented by a new rear roof spoiler, black running boards, and a Maybach emblem finished in dark chrome. This model symbolizes the pinnacle of elegance and cutting-edge electric technology.
The Mercedes-Benz India pavilion will showcase an impressive array of vehicles:
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, set to be held between January 17th-22nd, 2025, at Hall 4, Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, promises to be a landmark event, showcasing Mercedes-Benz’s technological prowess and luxury innovation.
