Hyundai has launched the 2024 Creta facelift in India at a starting price of 10.99 lakhs. The mid size SUV gets revised exterior design & a long list of new features including ADAS. Check this story to know everything about the new Creta.
Hyundai Motors India has finally launched the 2024 Creta at a starting price of Rs 10.99 Lakh (ex-showroom). The new facelifted Creta gets a completely revised front and rear with new & updated design elements. However, the most important addition to this legendary SUV is the new set of best & first in segment features that Hyundai has added. As all the details about the new mid size SUV are now out, here’s everything you need to know about the new 2024 Hyundai Creta.
On the design front, the new Creta gets a revised front and rear end with connected LED light bar design. In the front, the parametric grille along with the connected LED DRL gives the new Creta a bold look and a wider stance compared to the pre-facelift model. The wide and rugged skid plates in the front and rear adds to the sportier look of the new Creta. Moreover, the front and rear turn indicators also come with sequential function, quad beam LED headlamps and LED taillamps.
With an aim to make the new Creta more premium and upmarket, Hyundai has completely revamped the dashboard of the SUV. It now gets dual 10.25 inch screens for the infotainment system and drivers instrument cluster. However, the interesting detail lies in the curvilinear single piece glass that connects both the screens.
The new 10.25 inch instrument cluster is a fully digital and customizable screen which can display information like TPMS, turn by turn navigation, ADAS info & alerts and rear blind view feed. The 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system comes with 360 degree surround view monitor, on board navigation with 3D maps and JioSaavn app integration.
For enhanced comfort, the new Creta comes with dual zone auto climate control AC, front ventilated seats, voice enabled smart panoramic sunroof, electric parking brake with auto hold, rear window sunshades, wireless phone charger, and 8 way power adjustable driver seat.
On the safety front, Hyundai has equipped the new Creta with advanced features like 6 standard airbags, all wheel disc brakes, front parking sensors, auto dimming IRVM, rear blind view monitor, etc. However, the biggest addition to the SUV is Hyundai’s Smart Sense level 2 ADAS with 3 radar + 1 camera configuration (1 Front Camera + 1 Front Radar + 2 Rear Corner Radars). The ADAS package includes features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, auto emergency braking, rear cross traffic alert with braking, rear blind spot alert, auto high beam assist, etc.
With the new Creta, Hyundai continues to offer 3 engine options i.e. a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol with 6 speed manual or an IVT (CVT) auto, a 1.5 litre diesel with 6 speed manual or 6 speed torque converter auto, and a 1.5 litre turbo GDi with 7 speed DCT auto.
The new Hyundai Creta will be available in 6 monotone colours and 1 dual tone colour with black roof. Also, customers can choose from 7 different variants with prices starting from Rs 10.99 lakhs for the base E variant and going up to Rs 17.23 lakhs (ex-showroom) of the top end SX(O) variant.
The new 2024 Hyundai Creta will continue to rival other mid size SUVs like Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, MG Astor, etc. However, with a significantly revised exterior design and a long list of new and advanced features, it looks like the new Hyundai Creta is all set to give its rivals a run for their money and strengthen its image of segment leader in terms of sales and popularity.
