Porsche launches the Panamera GTS in India at Rs 2.34 crore, featuring a 500hp 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine and sporty design.

Porsche Panamera GTS Unveiled in India at Rs 2.34 Crore

Porsche has introduced the new Panamera GTS in India, priced at Rs 2.34 crore. This model sits above the standard Panamera, which was launched in India last November for Rs 1.7 crore.

Performance and Engine

The Panamera GTS is equipped with a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 500hp, which is 20hp more than the previous Panamera GTS model. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 302 km/h. The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system has been fine-tuned to enhance the GTS's sporty character. The suspension is lowered by 10mm compared to the standard Panamera, and it features reinforced anti-roll bars for improved stability.

Design and Styling

The Panamera GTS features several styling enhancements over the regular Panamera. It includes black GTS logos on the sides and rear, a unique front section, dark-tinted HD matrix LED headlamps and tail lamps, and red brake calipers. The standard Sport package adds satin matte-black body trim elements on the side skirts, front area insets, side window trim, and rear bumper. The tailpipes are finished in a contrasting Dark Bronze shade, and the car is fitted with 21-inch Turbo S centre-lock wheels in Anthracite Grey.

Interior Features

Inside, the Panamera GTS boasts Porsche's Race-Tex suede-like material for the roof lining, armrests, door panels, and centre panels of the seats. Two exclusive interior packages are available in Carmine Red or Slate Grey Neo, along with a Carbon matt interior package.

Availability

Porsche has stated that deliveries for the Panamera GTS will begin in its home country within a few months. In India, deliveries are expected to commence by the end of this year or possibly in 2025. The Panamera GTS will be the most powerful Panamera model in India, as the Turbo models, which are hybrids, will not be available in the country.
The Panamera GTS's impressive performance, luxurious interior, and distinct styling make it a standout choice for car enthusiasts in India.
