Suzuki's latest Swift debuts in the UK, promising an enhanced driving experience. With refreshed design, hybrid powertrain, and modern interior, it's set to captivate buyers worldwide, including India soon.
Suzuki’s next-generation Swift has finally made its debut in the United Kingdom. This has marked a milestone in the expanding global reach of the brand's most popular models. The car was unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo last year, after enthusiasts were waiting for the debut of this vehicle worldwide. Now the vehicle is set to hit the roads in the UK and Ireland starting from April, 2024. However, the car has not been revealed in India yet, but it is anticipated that it can launch anytime soon.
The fourth-generation Swift is set to launch within a few weeks in India. We can expect the vehicle to be priced around Rs 6 lakh(ex-showroom). The expected price range has sparked excitement for the most-awaited vehicle to launch in the subcontinent as soon as possible. Inspired from its predecessor, this latest offering from Suzuki commits to deliver the best driving experience.
Compared to its third-generation counterpart, New-Gen Swift offered impactful changes. Measuring 15mm longer than its predecessor, with a length of 3,860 mm, the exterior features a slightly refreshed fascia characterised by a larger grille, redesigned headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, and a sportier lower bumper.
Buyers can select from eight vibrant metallic hues, when it comes to colour options. You can also customise your vehicle through four dual-color combinations, including options such as Black Pearl or Grey metallic roof. To mark the aesthetic appeal of New-Gen Swift, the vehicle come equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, and a range of standard features including navigation, rearview camera, rear parking sensors, Adaptive Cruise Control, wireless smartphone link display audio, and keyless entry and start.
Inside the cabin, the New-Gen Suzuki Swift offers both comfort and sophistication to its riders. The redesigned front seats feature reshaped contours and added cushioning between the shoulder and side bolsters, ensuring a supportive ride for drivers. The overall interior design reflects a sense of modernity, with premium materials.
The vehicle houses a new hybrid powertrain for better performance and energy efficiency. The hybrid engine comes equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 10Ah. This will help the vehicle to facilitate better energy recovery efficiency. New-Gen Suzuki Swift comes equipped with Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) that serves a dual function as both a generator and a starter motor, delivering a power output of 2.3kW and a torque figure of 60Nm.
As Suzuki has rolled out its latest offering in markets around the world, including the UK and Ireland. The New-Gen Swift is poised to set new standards in the compact hatchback segment, in India soon. With the imminent launch of New-Gen Suzuki Swift in India promises to redefine the segment, offering consumers a compelling blend of style, performance, and value for money, the Swift looks set to capture the hearts of drivers seeking a thrilling yet practical driving experience.
