In a groundbreaking move, Tata Motors has officially launched the CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) variants for its popular models, the Tiago hatchback and Tigor compact sedan. This marks a significant industry-first as these vehicles become the first to offer both automatic transmission and CNG fuel options.

Pricing Details Revealed

The Tiago iCNG AMT is priced attractively, starting from Rs 7.90 lakh, making it an appealing choice for eco-conscious and convenience-seeking consumers. On the other hand, the Tigor iCNG AMT is priced slightly higher, with a range starting from Rs 8.85 lakh. Despite the incremental cost, Tata Motors aims to cater to a wider audience by offering the combination of CNG and AMT technologies.

Pricing Comparison with Manual Variants

The Tiago iCNG AMT is positioned approximately Rs 55,000 higher than its CNG manual counterpart. Similarly, the Tigor iCNG AMT comes with a price tag around Rs 60,000 more than its manual CNG variant. These pricing differentials aim to provide consumers with flexibility based on their preferences and budget considerations.
