Tata Motors achieved steady growth in 2024, driven by strong domestic passenger vehicle (PV) sales and a thriving electric vehicle (EV) segment.

Tata Motors reported a slight increase in passenger vehicle (PV) sales for December 2024, reaching 44,230 units, a rise of 490 units or 1.12% compared to December 2023. While domestic sales showed positive growth, export volumes experienced a significant drop, declining to 59 units from 205 units, a dramatic decrease of 71.22%. Total PV sales, including domestic and exports, stood at 44,289 units, marking a year-on-year growth of 1.41%.

The electric vehicle (EV) segment continued to thrive, with 5,562 units sold in December 2024. This reflects an increase of 556 units or 11.11% compared to the previous year, signaling a growing consumer demand for EVs in Tata's lineup.
