New 2024 Tata Nexon high altitude testing grabs everyone's attention with its new refreshing looks.
Another sighting of the Tata Nexon SUV from 2024, but this time at a height much higher than usual. Somewhere in the Himalayas, Tata's heavily modified subcompact SUV has been spotted in testing. The Indian automaker is testing the SUV in the region's arid climate. It's not an entirely new-generation SUV but resembles the Maruti Baleno, whose hatchback underwent significant revisions in its most recent incarnation.
The 2024 Tata Nexon SUV has undergone extensive high-altitude testing in the Himalayas. The new version of the popular SUV has been heavily revised, with upgrades and improvements across the board.
A larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a new seven-inch digital driver's display, up to six airbags, and possibly some ADAS capabilities are among anticipated upgrades. Things like the single-pane sunroof, the Harman sound system, and the ventilated front seats should be kept.
One of the key changes is an updated design, with a more aggressive front grille and sharper lines giving the Nexon a more muscular appearance. The new version is also expected to feature improved technology and safety features, including an updated infotainment system and advanced driver assistance systems.
Tata's brand-new 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine with 125 Hp is anticipated. This device complies with RDE standards and may use E20 fuel (fuel with a 20 per cent ethanol blend). Moreover, Tata has mentioned that this engine may receive a DCT, meaning that the Nexon may finally receive a true automatic transmission in place of the existing six-speed AMT.
Also, you may anticipate the continued use of the 1.5-litre diesel engine and its well-liked electric powertrains. During the high-altitude testing, the Nexon was put through its paces in some of the most challenging driving conditions imaginable. The harsh terrain, extreme temperatures, and high altitude provided a real test for the vehicle, and Tata engineers were able to gather valuable data on its performance and durability.
The Nexon has been a popular choice in the Indian SUV market since its launch, and the latest version looks set to build on that success. With its rugged design, advanced technology, and improved performance, 2024 Tata Nexon SUV is sure to be a hit with drivers looking for a capable and reliable vehicle for their adventures in the mountains and beyond.
