The Nexon, Harrier, and Safari Red Dark Edition models, which are based on the Dark Edition of the same vehicles, have been teased by Tata Motors.
Tata Motors recently teased the introduction of its Red Dark Edition automobiles, indicating that the limited-edition cars will probably be on sale soon. The Nexon, Harrier, and Safari SUVs are among the Red Dark Edition variants.
The Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition is a limited-edition SUV that includes more red accents and a distinctive colour scheme. It will likely be released in March 2023 after being first displayed at the Auto Expo 2023 last month.
The Tri-Arrow Dashboard Panel in black is one of the extra features that the Red Dark Edition offers. Mechanically, it will be identical to the basic model. Other upgrades, like an updated infotainment system and increased storage, are also anticipated.
The Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition's pricing has not yet been disclosed, but given its upgraded features, it is probably going to cost more than the base model.
Meanwhile, the Tata Nexon XZ Plus Dark Edition is anticipated to cost Rs 10.80 Lakh in New Delhi (Ex-showroom).
An upcoming 5-passenger D1-segment SUV, the Tata Harrier Red Dark Edition is scheduled to go on sale in August 2023. Its body is painted Oberon Black, and its exterior accents include a red front grille insert and a Carnelian Red interior with quilted leatherette seating, a centre console, and grab handles.
The ADAS package, which comes with a blind spot detector, lane departure and lane keep assist, forward collision warning with automated emergency braking (AEB), and more, is the centrepiece of the Harrier Red Dark Edition. It is mechanically propelled by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 168 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque and is mated to either an automated or manual six-speed transmission.
During Auto Expo 2023, Tata Motors displayed both the Harrier Red Dark Edition and the Safari Red Dark Edition. The company already offers the Dark edition of both SUVs, but adding the "Red" prefix results in alterations that go beyond the exterior. It has an all-black exterior with 18-inch alloy wheels, red brake callipers, and an ADAS technology package. The debut of both editions this year has been confirmed by Tata.
Up to 7 passengers can sit inside the next D1-segment SUV, the Tata Safari Red Dark Edition. It is anticipated to go on sale in September 2023 with 2 engine-transmission combinations and an ex-showroom pricing that is likely to fall between Rs. 17.00 lakh and Rs. 25.00 lakh.
While the interior of the Safari Red Dark Edition is covered in red leatherette upholstery with deep blue Tri Arrow perforations and #DARK embroidery on the front headrests, the exterior of the vehicle will be all-black with red accents. As part of the ADAS package, it will also have a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, and several safety measures.
All three models will feature an all-black exterior finish with red highlights and an interior wrapped in red leatherette upholstery with red motifs. The Nexon will also get 16-inch alloy wheels with a charcoal finish.
The 2023 editions, which include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, and many safety technologies as part of the ADAS package, will serve as the basis for the Harrier and Safari Red Dark Editions. It is anticipated that the Nexon model will keep its current, BS6 Phase 2-compliant powertrains.
