The 2021 Honda Amaze Facelift – The Changes

The 2021 facelift is a minor change because the compact sedan had already got a generational setup in 2018. The cosmetic changes include a set of new LED projector headlamps, new alloy wheels, and a set of redesigned tail lamps. In addition, the interiors have got a refresh with new features and advanced connectivity options.

The 2021 Honda Amaze Facelift – No change under the hood

The 2021 Honda Amaze Facelift will come equipped with the same petrol and diesel engines present on the existing model. The 1.2L petrol engine delivers 89bhp power and torque of 110Nm, whereas the 1.5L diesel motor can churn out 99bhp power and a peak torque of 200Nm.

There is no change in the transmission system as the Honda Amaze continues with its 5-speed manual and CVT units as standard offerings. With these changes, the 2021 Honda Amaze Facelift aims to compete with the Hyundai Aura, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, and the Ford Aspire.

The 2021 Honda Amaze Facelift – Launch

While speaking about the impending Honda Amaze Facelift launch, Mr. Rajesh Goel, Sr. VP and Director, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd, commented that the compact sedan had been a preferred choice for more than four and a half lakh Indian customers since the vehicle made its debut in 2013. He added that the refreshed Honda Amaze would get premium features to look more stylish and sophisticated. The launch has been slated for August 18, 2021, to coincide with the upcoming festive season. He believes that the 2021 Honda Amaze Facelift will create a buzz in the market with its advanced features.Honda has not yet announced the new pricing structure for the revamped 2021 Honda Amaze.
