The July 2024 automotive sales data showcases the performance of various car models and body types in the market. In the last six months, we have seen fluctuations for the top spot. Initially, it was led by Maruti hatchbacks like the WagonR. However, Tata later snatched the top position with their subcompact SUV, the Tata Punch, and held it for two months. Last month, the WagonR bounced back and reclaimed the top position, but meanwhile, some other subcompact SUV sales were growing at a decent rate.
Now, the Hyundai Creta is the best-selling car in India in July 2024. The analysis highlights significant trends in SUV, hatchback, MUV, and sedan segments, providing insights into consumer preferences and the overall automotive landscape.
