Toyota has raised the prices of its popular models, the HyRyder SUV and the Innova HyCross MPV, for the second time this year. Get the latest prices and updates on these vehicles.
Toyota Motor, the popular carmaker, has recently announced a price hike for all of its models across the board. This marks the second time in just six weeks that the company has increased its prices, with the first hike being implemented for its flagship SUV, the Urban Cruiser HyRyder, in February of this year.
Depending on the variant, the price of the Urban Cruiser HyRyder has increased by up to Rs. 60,000 in the latest round of price hikes. Additionally, Toyota's new generation MPV, the Innova HyCross, has also received its second price hike since March.
Both the Urban Cruiser HyRyder and Innova HyCross were launched by Toyota last year. The former is the carmaker's first compact SUV to hit Indian shores, while the latter is an improved version of the Innova Crysta that offers strong hybrid variants. As a result, consumers can expect to pay more for these popular models, as well as for other models in Toyota's portfolio.
Toyota Motor has announced a price hike for several of its popular models, including the HyRyder SUV and the Innova HyCross MPV. The entry-level strong hybrid variant of the HyRyder called the S e-CVT, will see a significant price increase of Rs. 60,000, while the other two strong hybrid variants of the SUV will cost Rs. 25,000 more.
The mild hybrid version of the SUV will also see price increases, with four entry-level variants receiving Rs. 20,000 hikes.
Most other variants of the HyRyder SUV will see a marginal hike of Rs. 2,000.
As a result, the price of the HyRyder SUV will now range from Rs. 10.73 lakh to Rs. 19.74 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Innova HyCross MPV has also received a major price hike, with Toyota increasing the prices of all the VX and ZX variants of the three-row car by Rs. 27,000.
The mid-trim Innova HyCross models will now cost between Rs. 25.03 lakh and Rs. 30 lakh (ex-showroom). Consumers can expect to pay more for these popular Toyota models, as the company adjusts its prices in response to various market factors.
Toyota has increased the prices of its Glanza hatchback, which is essentially a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Most variants of the Glanza, except the V AMT variant, will now be at least Rs. 5,000 more expensive, including the CNG variant.
The ex-showroom price of the Glanza ranges from Rs. 6.71 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh. In addition, the Camry Hybrid sedan, previously priced at Rs. 45.25 lakh (ex-showroom), has received a price increase of Rs. 46,000, bringing the new price of the sedan to Rs. 45.71 lakh (ex-showroom). These price hikes are in response to various market factors affecting the auto industry.
