The new Toyota Innova Hycross Hybrid interior features details have been leaked on the internet. The Innova Hybrid Hycross will be available in the Indonesian market from November 2022.
Toyota is prepared to launch the new Innova Hybrid in the country, following the introduction of the new Hyryder (click here to read the full review of Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder). Prior to India, the new Toyota Innova Hycross Hybrid will be available in Indonesia in early November 2022. In fact, dealers have begun accepting pre-orders for the new model for a nominal fee of Rp. 15 million (approx INR 80,000).
Key interior details of the latest Toyota Innova Hybrid have been revealed on the Internet ahead of its official launch. According to the leaked information, the new Innova will include various high-end amenities that the current model lacks. In fact, the new MPV will be based on the new platform and will not be available with a diesel engine.
New Toyota Innova Hybrid Key Highlights & Features
New Toyota Innova Hybrid Leaked Details
According to the report, the majority of the features will be available in the high-end (Q) variant with a hybrid engine; however, a handful will also be available in the medium V variant. Moreover, the captain seats in the second row can be electrically modified. The captain seats also offer an ottoman function, something we've seen in high-end MPVs like the Toyota Voxy and the Kia Carnival. The new Innova Hybrid also has a panoramic sunroof, which the current model does not have.
The 2019 Toyota Innova Hybrid will include a motorized tailgate, multi-color ambient lighting, an LED lighting system, a 360-degree camera, and a soft-touch dashboard and interior panels. Toyota Safety Sense, which includes technologies such as Pre-Collision System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and Automatic High Beam, will be standard on the MPV.
According to reports, the Indonesian-spec vehicle would be known as the new Innova Zenix. The India-spec variant will be known as the new Innova HyCross, which will be similar to the new Urban Cruiser Hyryder (Hy refers to Hybrid). Instead of the current ladder-frame chassis and RWD layout, the new-generation Innova will be built on a new monocoque platform with front-wheel drive. It will feature a wheelbase of 2860mm, which is 100mm longer than the present model.
The hybrid powertrain configuration of the new Innova will contain a gasoline engine, an electric motor, and an electric battery. The MPV will most likely be equipped with a 2.0L petrol hybrid or a 1.8L hybrid system. The manufacturer might employ a localized version of the THS II (Toyota Hybrid System II), which features a twin-motor configuration for high 'step-off' torque and fuel efficiency.
