Maruti Suzuki is preparing to debut many new cars and SUVs in the upcoming months, supported by the strong reaction to the new Grand Vitara and new Baleno. The manufacturer will launch a number of new premium vehicles that will be marketed through the NEXA premium dealership network. In this article, we will discuss the top three new Maruti Suzuki upcoming cars available through the NEXA premium dealership network in the country in 2023.
The all-new Jimny off-roader from Maruti Suzuki will enter the lifestyle SUV segment. The 5-door Jimny will be unveiled during the 2023 Auto Expo in January. It will only be available through the NEXA premium dealership network. It will compete with the Mahindra Thar and the Force Gurkha, both of which will receive 5-door variants in the near future. The new Jimny SUV has a 300mm longer wheelbase and a 300mm longer length than the Jimny Sierra 3-door model.
The new 1.5-litre K15C naturally-aspirated petrol engine with a mild hybrid setup will power the 5-door Maruti Suzuki Jimny. This engine has a power output of 101bhp and a torque output of 137Nm. A 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission will be available. Suzuki's AllGrip Pro AWD system, the most competent version of Suzuki's AllGrip technology, will be standard on the 2017 Jimny 5 door.
Maruti Suzuki plans to introduce a new crossover in India in the first quarter of 2023. The new Maruti crossover, which is set to be introduced at the Auto Expo 2023, will be offered solely through the NEXA dealership network. The new vehicle, internally dubbed Project YTB, will be built on the HEARTECT technology that underlies the current Baleno. It is expected to be known as the Maruti Baleno Cross and will compete with the Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet. It will be driven by a 1.0-liter Boosterjet 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine with a mild hybrid configuration. This engine produces 100 horsepower and 150 Newton-meters of torque. Lower-spec variants will get a 1.2L DualJet petrol engine with manual or AMT transmission options.
In 2023, Maruti Suzuki will introduce a new three-row MPV based on the new Innova Hycross. The new MPV, which will be marketed through the NEXA dealership network, will be positioned above the Suzuki XL6. It will be built on Toyota's TNGA-C front-wheel-drive chassis and will include a hybrid powertrain. It will be available with two engine options: a 2.0L gasoline engine and a 2.0L gasoline engine with powerful hybrid technology. It may receive a significantly localised version of the THS II (Toyota Hybrid System), which has a twin-motor architecture that improves its high'step-off' torque and fuel economy. The new Maruti C-MPV will only be available through the NEXA premium dealership network.
