Audi is all set to launch it's electric car Suv, Q8 e-tron in India, Know about the price and features.
German luxury automaker Audi will launch the electric Q8 e-tron in India next month to strengthen its electrification in the country, a top leader said. The company will launch the Q8 e-tron on August 18 in two bodies: the Q8 e-tron SUV and the Q8 e-tron Sportback, with a 114 kW battery, longer than the current e-tron's 95 kW battery.
Audi India president Balbir Singh Dhillon told PTI: "We are strengthening our electronic (electric) portfolio and making products global for our Indian customers as well. Customers." "We want to bring it to India and strengthen our portfolio of EVs with the Q8 e-tron, the latest addition to Audi's offering." India's Q8 e-tron is the same. Dhillon said that as a global publication, the cycle reflects the importance of the Indian economy.
Therefore, we look forward to this model to further strengthen our electric vehicles in India.” Audi India's current electric car portfolio includes the e-tron 50, e-tron 55, e-tron Sportback 55, e-tron GT and the RS e-tron GT. He said the Q8 e-tron will be exported as a complete car and will be one of the high-end models in the portfolio. "We focused on the same thing. With the Q8 e-tron, we begin our journey to the new generation of electric cars.
After that, we will also see more EVs coming to India in the next few years. Audi's luxury electric cars are gaining traction in India despite the cars costing an average of Rs 1.5 crore and appealing to very few customers. very little, but that's just growth, and I hope it continues to grow in the future. So one day we're going to be a fully electric company.
So making e-tron a strong brand in India is the main goal. However, the acceptance of electric vehicles, including the e-tron, was very good, not only in big cities but also in cities B and C, where electric cars find their taste, so we bought an Audi. Retail sales in India in the first half of 2023 increased by 97% year-on-year to 3,474 units; Audi India will sell 4,187 units in 2022, an increase of 27.14% from 3,293 units in 2021.
