Yezdi Motorcycles Launched in India! EVs in Works

The company had tried to keep everything secretive, how-ever as we earlier covered in our news the company teased us via a video glimpse of all three bikes.

Yezdi Scrambler:

The Yezdi Scrambler price starts at Rs 2.05 lakh for the single tone colour scheme and goes up to Rs 2.11 lakh for the dual tone colours. The Scrambler gets the neo-retro design language with focus on soft off-roading on the bike thus it offers spoke wheels, upswept twin exhausts, tall set fender, a flowing fuel tank, handlebar guards and an off-set all-digital instrument cluster.

The Scrambler also gets a single-piece seat with ribbed pattern and the rear number plate on the tyre-hugger. It also gets full LED lights USB-C charging ports on the handlebar. This soft off-roader gets a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, both having disc brakes. The bike will get ABS with three modes- road, off-road and rain which definitely helps in improving riding dynamics of the bike.

It has a 1403mm wheelbase, 800mm seat height, 182kg kerb weight and 12.5L fuel tank while it is powered by the 334cc, liquid cooled engine which makes 29.10ps power and 28.20nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Yezdi Roadster:

The Yezdi Roadster is the entry level motorcycle in the Yezdi line-up. It comes with a starting price of Rs 1.98 lakh for the normal paint scheme and Rs 2.06 lakhs for the chrome paint scheme.

The Roadster is a cruiser motorcycle with its lowered stance, carved out seat and a back rest for the pillion as it is based on the Jawa 42 it also has LED headlights and a small LED taillight set just above the number plate on the long rear fender. The bike also offers a centrally placed digital instrument cluster and black alloy wheels. The normal paint scheme versions have an all-black theme for the bike except the panels with a small windscreen and upside-down mirrors on the handlebars whereas the chrome version gets a larger windshield, chrome lined circular mirrors, chrome exhausts and other chrome inserts as well.

The Roadster has an 18-inch front and a 17-inch rear tyre with wider cross-section and will get the same braking options as the other two bikes.

It has a 1440mm wheelbase, 790mm seat height, 184kg kerb weight and a 12.5L fuel tank while it is powered by the same 334cc, liquid cooled engine which makes 29.70ps power and 29nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It will rival the likes of the Jawa 42, Royal Enfield Meteor and Honda H’ness CB350.

Yezdi Adventure:

The Yezdi Adventure is the most expensive model among the three bikes with the price starting at Rs 2.10 lakhs for the matte colours and goes up to Rs 2.19 lakhs for the camo paint. The motorcycle offers large windscreen, on/off-road tyres, a high-set front fender, high ground clearance and a single exhaust.

The Adventure offers a more features than the Royal Enfield Himalayan, its direct rival. It offers full-LED lighting, a tilt-adjustable, digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, USB port with type-C charging port as well and saddle-stands as standard.

The Adventure has the double-cradle chassis with three-level of ABS available. It has a 1465mm wheelbase, 815mm seat height, 188kg kerb weight and a 15.5L fuel tank while it is powered by the familiar 334cc, liquid cooled engine which makes 30.20ps power and 29.90nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Next for the Classic Legends:

The Classic Legends has told that they are developing electric bikes too with the development of the electric versions at an advanced stage and the company is planning to strengthen its position in the international market as well, with its revival of the iconic British motorcycle brand BSA and has revealed that the first bike will be the BSA Gold Star 650. The company will initially launch BSA brand in the UK and then it will decide on its India launch in the near future.
