As the introductory booking cap is over, the EV is now available at Rs 13.10 lakh + Rs 4.5 per km price, Rs 60,000 more than the offer price.

JSW MG Motor India recently introduced the Pro version of Windsor EV for a starting price of Rs 17.5 lakh. The automaker confirmed that the introductory pricing was applicable for only 8,000 bookings. The Windsor EV Pro has already surpassed 8,000 bookings within 24 hours of its launch, which began on May 8. As per the revised pricing, the EV now costs Rs 60,000 more in the market.

MG Windsor EV Introductory Pricing Ends: New Price Rises by Rs 60,000

Under the rental plan, the MG Windsor EV Pro was introduced at Rs 12.50 lakh + Rs 4.5 per kilometer. As the introductory booking cap is over, the EV is now available at Rs 13.10 lakh + Rs 4.5 per km price, Rs 60,000 more than the offer price. In contrast, the EV previously cost Rs 17.50 lakh without a battery rental plan, but with the price revision, it will now cost Rs 18.10 lakh.

It's important to note that the prices of the lower 38 kWh variants are unchanged, and they are still available under the range of Rs 10-12 lakh with battery rental and Rs 14-16 lakh without the battery rental scheme.

The all-new Windsor EV Pro has a larger 52.9 kWh battery pack that delivers a maximum range of 449 km on a single charger. Additionally, it gets an extended range of features compared to the standard model. The EV has a Level 2 ADAS suite, white seat upholstery, a powered tailgate, and V2L and V2V functionality.

Its price range and battery capacity give tough competition to flagship EVs in the Indian market, including the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400. With its battery rental scheme, Windsor EV Pro is also a suitable alternative to the Tata Punch EV
