Nissan Magnite prices to rise by 2% from January 2025 as introductory pricing ends on 31st December 2024. Book now to lock in the current price before the hike!
Through a source, Nissan India confirmed that the prices of the popular compact SUV Nissan Magnite will increase by 2% starting January 2025, as the company’s introductory pricing policy is set to end. Customers still have the opportunity to book the Magnite at the current introductory prices, but only until 31st December 2024, after which the price hike will come into effect.
When the Nissan Magnite was launched in December 2020, it created waves in the Indian automotive market with its aggressive pricing. The brand had introduced the SUV with a promise of offering exceptional value at an accessible price point. Over the years, the Magnite’s pricing has remained highly competitive, enabling it to capture a significant share of the compact SUV segment.
Nissan had also committed that its introductory pricing would remain in place for a specific number of milestones and bookings, ensuring affordability for early adopters. With the Magnite crossing these milestones and achieving robust sales figures, the introductory pricing commitment has now reached its conclusion.
From 1st January 2025, the Nissan Magnite’s price will be revised upwards by 2%, affecting all variants of the model. This adjustment is attributed to increased input costs and the company’s strategic realignment to keep pace with the market dynamics. Nissan India assures that the SUV will continue to offer excellent value even after the price hike, retaining its strong appeal within the compact SUV category.
For reference, the current price range of the Magnite starts at ₹6.00 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant and goes up to ₹11.02 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end variant with the CVT transmission. A 2% price hike translates to an increase of approximately ₹12,000 to ₹22,000, depending on the variant.
Nissan has urged prospective customers to take advantage of the existing price structure before the year ends. Bookings made on or before 31st December 2024 will allow buyers to lock in the current introductory pricing, offering them a final opportunity to purchase the Magnite at its most affordable rate.
Since its launch, the Nissan Magnite has been a game-changer for the Japanese automaker in India. It offers a compelling mix of bold design, powerful yet efficient engine options, feature-rich interiors, and advanced safety. Available in petrol and turbo-petrol options, the Magnite also comes with multiple transmission choices, including manual and CVT, catering to a broad range of customer preferences.
Features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera, and dual airbags as standard across variants have made the Magnite a top choice among compact SUV buyers.
With the price hike, Nissan India appears to be transitioning the Magnite into a new phase of its lifecycle, reflecting its strong market position. The move is likely to maintain the SUV’s profitability while continuing to compete with rivals like the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
For customers eyeing the Magnite, the window to avail of the current prices is closing quickly. Visit your nearest Nissan dealership or book online before 31st December 2024 to lock in the introductory prices and drive home a Magnite at its most attractive price point.
